My role in The Big Green Challenge is…
To provide green expertise and support for those entering the challenge - I’ve done lots of research into how you can live a 21st century lifestyle without depending on fossil fuels and I want to help other groups and communities who are on the same journey.

Communities I belong to include…
When not on location, I get actively involved in my local community to show ways in which groups can be greener, from schools and the Scouts to the local rugby club and older people in hospices.

The best idea I’ve seen to tackle climate change is…
I’m working with a company that has found a way of capturing CO2 emissions from internal combustion engines, which could mean that soon cars, power stations and any form of motor powered by fossil fuels won’t contribute to climate change.

I’m involved in The Big Green Challenge because…
I’m lucky enough to be living a green lifestyle, saving money and having a low impact on the environment. Britain is the most innovative nation in the world and if we can help communities apply themselves to the problem of climate change, we will solve it.
